Tip: Look in your own community and country to find wonderful authors and illustrators.

One thing teachers often use for planning their lessons is their curriculum. A curriculum can be a great resource and a great guide. It is important to remember that a curriculum is only a guide, so use your imagination (and the lessons on this site!). Story book dances: What exactly does that mean?
Literature - Arts Ed Resources

Storybook Dances is a creative way to increase your student’s awareness of books and appreciation for literature. This unique idea enhances children’s favorite stories by integrating them with related dance and movement activities. The world is a stage for your young dance enthusiast. Let your students discover the fun role of dressing in costumes and dancing. Children are introduced to basic dance movements that aid in coordination, balance, flexibility, and perception. Through the use of music and dance interpretation, our little dancers bring their favorite stories to life. Look under attachments for story book dance lessons
